Get ready to hit the trails, collect some miles, and make a difference! Treads for Trails is Cloud City Wheelers’ enchanted-forest-themed, backyard-ultra-style bike-and-run-a-thon supporting the trails and outdoor spaces of Leadville and Lake County. Can’t join us in person? Participate virtually from wherever you are—just make sure your miles are completed and tracked during the event window on October 3 from 9:00 AM–5:30 PM!

Participants of all ages and ability levels are welcome! Chase an ambitious endurance goal, cruise a few laps with friends, hike with the family, or choose an adventure entirely your own. You decide how far you want to go!

Ask friends, family members, coworkers, or local businesses to support your adventure with a pledge for every mile you complete—or with a one-time donation.

No watch? No problem! Cloud City Wheelers can help track your miles at the event.

Not looking to break a sweat? You can still join the fun! Come grill and chill, play yard games, enjoy music, and soak up plenty of enchanted-forest magic while we celebrate our trails and the community that makes them special. Costumes are highly encouraged!

Every mile and every donation helps Cloud City Wheelers create, enhance, preserve, and promote trail opportunities throughout Leadville and Lake County. Funds raised support our professional trail crew, tools and materials, ongoing trail maintenance, new trail connections, and community volunteer stewardship.
