Events/Rides

The Cloud City Wheelers Sponsor some Fun Events and Rides

Currently, the Wheelers have been coordinating with other local organizations to provide several opportunities for members of the community to get out and ride.

Ride our trails! We’ve worked hard building these trails for the last couple years.  Email, Facebook, or swing by the bike shop for more details!

We build every Wednesday evenings from 4pm – dark. Meeting spots may vary. Please check out our trails page, the bike shop, and or Facebook for up to date info.

Summer Time Twice Weekly Mountain Bike Rides
On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, bikers meet at the Cycles of Life bike shop in downtown Leadville for evening rides. All skill levels are welcome.  Riders meet at 6pm for these awesome outings.

Winter Mountain Bike Race Series

These unique and exciting races occur throughout the winter in and around Leadville. Utilizing groomed nordic ski trails and snowmobile trails, these races are a great way
to keep riding and racing during the off-season. Three of the races are even held at night!

A typical course is 12 miles with a mix of spine-tingling conditions. Cost is $20 per race.

All proceeds from the race series go towards Cloud City Wheelers advocacy efforts. These races always end with plenty of tasty food and beverages, laughter and dang good times. Come on up and enjoy the ride!

Assistance provided by Trips for Kids, helping disadvantaged kids discover mountain biking since 1988!

Trips for Kids chapters nationwide make a difference in kids’ lives by opening their world to mountain biking.
